Prayer for the French Republic By Joshua Harmon

PRAYER FOR THE FRENCH REPUBLIC, by Tony Award nominated playwright, Joshua Harmon, follows the members of a French-Jewish family with an American cousin, in all their family messiness. An incident occurs and the family is sent into a tumult, questioning if they really are safe as Jews, even in a country where they are proud to be French. They also came through the Holocaust carrying that trauma and as a family that is diverse – Algerian, Ashkenazic, secular, religious, atheist — their future is now existentially uncertain.
